How fast DO you read?

Hmm, I'm going to have to read up about this sub-vocalization stuff, it seems it may be thaF which is holding back my reading speed.
 
682 wpm, although I usually read slower so I can close read it and pick out all the meanings /connotations/all that fun English Lit type stuff.
 
438 but I'm reading and scrolling on my phone. I probably read novels slower than that though to help me absorb all the storyline.
 
320 wpm with 91% comprehension.

But If I'm honest most of those comprehension questions I didn't answer thinking "oh hey I just read that and now I know it, the power of learning!" it was more "that sounds about right...".
 
Most people seem to have missed that it also checks your Comprehension score. Guess some people skim read the instructions a bit too quickly ;)

197 wpm @ 82% comprehension

I have to say though, I could probably have 'guessed' most of the comprehension answers without reading the text at all. They were fairly leading questions most of the time.
 
I read it at 451 wpm, but I forced myself to read every word rather than skim read as I usually do, and taking in the facts and figures slowed me down. 100% comprehension.

When I'm reading novels I read at blistering pace.
 
I tried to read it at my usual speed and not speed myself up for the purpose of getting a high score. This was difficult.

I got 373.
 
So are you actually reading all 658 words or are you just skimming through and sort of getting the general jist of the text?
