How feminists effect gaming

If there's some kind of rational thread to this discussion, I can't figure it out.

You crazy kids keep crying about your perceived persecution by the nasty girls. Merry Christmas!

I love women, just not extreme feminists, just like I don't like extreme anything interfering unlawfully with peoples private space.

EDIT: Happy Christmas :) Enjoy the game!

Dead or Alive is not banned or censored. The publisher chose not to release it here because the series hasn't sold well. There was no almost no discussion about it until the Facebook post and PlayAsia's consequent baiting.

Monster Monpiece, the game where you rub the clothes off very young looking girls in sexually provocative poses hasn't been banned either. It's been censored slightly....by the publisher - as such, it's not only available in this country, but it's PEGI rated 12. If you want to complain about that censorship, I suggest you look up some of the cards (I won't link as they are definitely NSFW) - I sincerely doubt they would have made it past PEGI regardless of what those pesky feminists say.

What you clearly don't actually like is people that disagree with what you think, as all the injustice you're seeing is imaginary.

Read the publishers quote and make your own mind up, instead of skimming through my posts and deciding to join in with the argument against me(which I thought was done, until another bug joined the bandwagon). Forget the word ban for a start, if you had read my posts you wouldn't have wrote it.

If none of my posts, including financial figures floats your boat then join the rest of the idiots who remain ignorant, for some reason, what the reason is I have no idea.

I've said my final word to you, as you attacked me without even reading my posts. Very dramatic.

There you go again using words you don't understand the meaning of.

Or did you dial 999 and have the mean girls arrested for saying bad things about your video games?

Mean girls? I have a daughter and a female partner that I assure you aren't mean, and have not met a "mean" police woman in my life.

Give up already, I do not appreciate being classed as someone I am not.

Your ad hominem is simply proof that you have a problem with me, go away please.

Erm

At the end of the day these "groups" infringe on my free will and they should not have the right to. Don't support games with big boobs? Don't buy them instead of banning them for everyone else, which is rotten, almost evil. Playing God.

Which game with big boobs has been banned?

This fighting game I was referring to, in a "big boob" manner, because I can't see how it's exploitation, prostitution is exploitation yet it's the oldest career in the history for women. Blokes have been beating each other senseless for decades, big muscles and not, doesn't really matter does it?

2. It has not been banned anywhere, because of a big boobs or other reason.

2) It is, why else? Do you believe the article that blames the publisher?

You are the moron by being ignorant of a very real feminist threat. You seemingly are delusional enough to simply let these extreme feminists affect your hobby? Oh your not bothered because you don't play those types of games. The difference between you and I is I actually give a **** about how this affects fans of the game, which there will be, big fans, imagine being one of them? Oh no, you can't because it doesn't affect you. Too many people like you, oh I could go so deep into this but I'd be wasting my time.

See, I actually read your posts, which is how I know you've completely misunderstood. Did you read them yourself? Are you surprised that anyone thinks that you believe it's been banned? Or has your RAGE OF INJUSTICE clouded over that too, like it did the name/subject matter of the game that you were so indignant on behalf of :D

I get why you've latched on to the sales figures, but despite what they look like, they don't actually show a success.

DOA: Xtreme 2 may have sold 130k copies in the US, but that's a continent of around 10 million square miles made up of 23 different countries and 565 million people. It sold about 23k copies in Europe (4 million square miles, 50 countries, 750 million people).

That's a huge amount of localisation, distribution, advertising and all the other costs involved for very little reward.

Japan may have sold less, but at 145,000 square miles and 126 million people, it requires a much lower cost to make it a success.

He said dramatically :p

You should go back and read them for the first time yourself, it's pretty entertaining stuff ;)

You stated that feminists are committing criminal acts, surely if they are breaking the law you should call the police and have them brought to justice?

If you don't want to get called out, don't spout BS.

Translation of this game would not cost 100k even, advertising less, basically send out copies to review and a trailer on youtube.

You have no argument, solely based on the greater sales of the games outside of Japan, this combined with it being the first next gen version, it would have made millions, simple as that really.

Probably not worth leaning too heavily on VGCharts' game sales figures. They're really not at all reliable - it's all estimates, and specially unreliable in their older figures (when they were just a bunch of amateurs). The publisher's actions in not bothering to market in the west is probably a more reliable indication on sales figures.
