How feminists effect gaming

I care because I hate censorship

I'm not convinced you actually understand what censorship means?

Responding to a question regarding whether or not the game would make it to "US and EU regions," Dead or Alive's official Facebook page relied: "We do not bring DOAX3 to the west and won't have any plan change in the future. Thank you for asking."

When asked for their reasoning behind this decision, the page responded: "Do you know many issues happening in video game industry with regard to how to treat female in video game industry? We do not want to talk those things here. But certainly we have gone through in last year or two to come to our decision. Thank you."

That's not censorship. It hasn't been cut, or banned from this country, the publisher has chosen not to release it. Exactly like the many other Japanese games that never make it to these shores that also aren't "censored".

PlayAsia have seen an opportunity to get some press out of it, so they've kicked a bear just to get a reaction, and they got one. It's certainly a good short term business plan, because now all the OUTRAGED can rush to their site and throw money at them to champion a non-existent censorship issue, by buying a game for 12 years olds that like the idea of bewbs but haven't worked out how to find them on the internet.

yh if they like the game that's fine but go around attacking a company that stands up to sjw nonsense and spam report their twitter

As if these nerds will stop using PlayAsia to import games that they want.

as you can the sjws and feminists are ****ed by play asia simply importing the game they would be even more ****ed if it got announced for release.

as the devs say due to the sjw movement overreacting to video games most of them aren't even gamers, they were forced to self censor themselves by not releasing a game.

edit: p - i -- s --s ed
a swear word now?

So what's the problem? They are free to complain about a game, you are free to complain about them complaining about a game, no-one is being stopped from releasing the game, the world keeps turning.

koei tecmo seems to disagree

At gunpoint?

look at the backlash play asia got just for a couple of tweets and only importing it as their job to import goods

now think what backlash koei tecmo would have received if they actually released it.

Projecting an opinion on social media isn't a legally binding cease and desist order.

They (like you) need to stop being such a bunch of pussies being cowered into crying over a few bits of text on social media.

You seem to be under the impression that observing what's happening and finding it amusing is the same as being upset/bothered by it.

It's pretty clear OP is upset/bothered.

He doesn't seem to be able to get it into his head that some people voicing opinions on social media does not constitute oppression, or censorship, or slander, or any number of other words he clearly does not understand the meaning of.

To be fair, I do think this games portrayl of its female characters is ridiculous.

It is a problem in the videogame industry, and oddly enough it seems to be Japan who isn't progressive enough to even understand this, let alone address it.
