As many of you are aware I have been selling bits off of my Mondeo.

It is being taken away next weekend so most of the parts are off and in boxes ready to be dropped off, collected or posted.

I had an email from a chap asking if I would swap my passenger seat with his. The heater is broken in his seat. He was offering me money for the exchange too.

I said yes as he is on the owners club so I felt like doing a good deed.

So I ebay my seats as faulty and as expected they go less than they are worth because of this. Other auctions I have watched the seats have sold for £185. I had a firm cash offer of £160 for them but then ebayed them after this and got £117.

I get an email the next day from the bloke saying that he cannot make the Tuesday we do the swap. Prior to accepting the deal I made it very clear I needed a definate answer to a definate day and time to meet as I am self-employed, would have to arrange something with the ebay buyer and also have enough time to do it (i was fitting it all etc...).

I am so fustrated by this. His emails seem to suggest that he doesnt really care and it's not his problem.

OK he was paying me but lets be fair, I have offered him a few hours of my time, I had to edit my listing and email all of the people watching explaining that the seat is actualy faulty and now received less money because of this.

Sorry to rant but just had to vent a little as inside I am so fustrated. I try helping out people and they chuck **** into my face :(
