How future proof would a 7950 be?

I love the talk on here of HZ Panasonic years ago bucked the trend with TVs and made a TV that refreshed at 70hz the true HZ your eyes see at. I fuking myself now seeing TVs with 400hz but they will never how 400fps. HZ is irrelevant when comparing to GPS. Has anyone watched a HD blu ray it's 30fps, but program's like the Super Bowl in the states are broadcast at 1080i at 60fps can anyone see the difference?? Your 400hz TV isn't helping out there... Or is it.

The opinion on what you can or can't see is going to be subjective there is no way of truly telling what one person sees compared to another. People can have their TVs monitors projectors calibrated and this ranges into the hundreds of pounds to give then true colours of why the TV should portray. Now I'm goin off topic but my friends get me to set there's up with my eyes and settings because I have an EYE for detail but it doesn't make my settings correct with thx etc.
Anyway what I am trying to say is that the more fps the more your computer is actually processing seeing above 60fps would in theory be hard (new HD material is only just being filmed that way "the hobbit"). But you'll want a card that can obviously output as much fps as possible to last longer.

You are all wrong and right in some ways.

Seeing the difference in FPS has nothign to do with the FPS.

Its the games you play.

Some games u wont notice anything above 30 FPS it depends how well the game is coded.

BF3 and such is so easy to tell the difference as the FPS changes so fast its not solid all the time and thats where you really notice it.

Some games you wont notice it at all its all about the game.

please elaborate? i can see it in every game that allows 120fps, it's just that it only makes a major difference in fast paced games.
