Dell have an XPS M1710 for £1299.

Similar spec to the one you posted (same CPU, Memory) but comes with a 17" screen and 256 MB PCI-Express nVidia T GeForce 7900 GS graphics adapter.

Hard drive is a 5,400RPM model but at 120GB.

dell XPS is nice but i prefer Rock

i got Rock XCT 17", Pm 2.0ghz, 1GB ddr2, 7800GTX 256mb, fantastic laptop.

XCTX is a little better than mine as its newer, better CPU but weaker graphic card thou

if you gonna use the laptop for games, you'll be very disappointed with X1600 as it doesnt perform well in games at very high resolution (1650x1050 or above)

how about the new XSL?
