How good are 2 7900GT's ?

Considering getting another 7900GT (256) to go with mine, just for a small upgrade, they will be with an X2 4400 and 2gig Geil, all at stock.

When SLI'd, how will they compare to a 8800GTS 320?

I run my games @ 1680x1050

Not playing much at the moment because of my 360 but looking forward to Crysis, will the 7900's cope? or should i save a little and get an 8800 series?

Save a little, then sell your 7900GT, and get an 8800GTS or even GTX.

You'd prolly get around 8000 points in 3D Marks 06 in games where SLI is properly supported you'd get performance a bit behind an 8800GTS maybe almost catch it up with overclocking...

If your planning on crysis then I'd save up for a new card around the time it comes out...

Well I have a pair of 7800GTX's 430/1200 and a pair of 7900GT's 525/725

I only game at 1200 x 1024 and never use AF AA but I get a good boost in a number of games. Bioshock was a little glitchly with 1 card but with a second it's much better. with vsync on, the frame rate doubled from a base of 15 to 30, with vsync off It hardly dips below 40. Your higher res may put more strain on the cards but if a single GT is ok at the moment a second will make a good difference in many games and they are very cheap at the moment.

I'm holding off buying a DX10 card until the next revision.

I don't know about Crysis but I'll be downloading the demo tomorrow.
