Hi guys,
Some time back before my other hobby grabbed my attention I had thought of building a PC based on an E8400 with a Biostar board and 4gb of PC8500.
I am now wondering if AMD is worth looking at?
Something suitable for gaming, music playback and movie playback with all other PC functions would be my goal, not too noisy or hot I guess?
I was wondering how good the Asus M4A785TD-V Evo AMD 785G board is? It seems to offer a lot of functionality, so could be used as a main pc or media PC with a TV or projector I guess?
Coupled with an AMD 965? or 955 quad core and Corsair Dominator XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600C9D Twin3X?
I have a SilverStone Lascala LC17S Silver Desktop/HTPC case, and a Sapphire HD4780 1gb toxic card I can use.
