how good is Condemned 2?

Hi folks,

I'm mainly a PC gamer but my brother has a PS3, I love them both.

I own and LOVE condemned on the pc and I really want to play the second one. I'm really tempted to buy it for my brothers PS3 as I don't even know if it will ever be released on the PC, and even if it is I don't really want to wait that long.

I've read a few reviews but would like some opinions of the people on these forums. It doesn't matter to me whether you own the Xbox 360 or PS3 version

What are you thoughts on this game folks?

Good game and for me it's as good as the first one. Not as scary but the more in depth forensics and combat make up for it. The story is progressing nicely also. Get it.

Yup i agree, finished it a couple of days ago, great game.

Fantastic game, much better than the first for me

Only problem with it is I think Monolith got confused about what game they were working on half way through as the scary enemies were replaced by FEAR type soliders which made it a lot less scary and took away a lot of the atmosphere

But still, excellent game

Excellent game just completed it. I disagree with the not as scary as the first one. Some parts are pretty disturbing and the atmosphere is definetely there.

Its a good game, altho not as scary as the first one but still has its moments i guess. One major gripe i have with the game is the utter crappy combat system...half the bloody time it doesnt work ie getting the combos right etc...plus i think using the trigger buttons for the combat system was possibly the worst stupid decision the developers made.

But saying that im enjoying playing it through...altho im having major headaches trying to beat that dollhouse boss....i know how to beat her its just getting the ****ing combos off right ...that stupid mask doesnt help matters much tbh.

It's easy. Just throw dolls at her, then they'll explode like a grenade. Only takes a few

Thats for the first part lol....ive done that bit....its the second part that im having a hell of a time with...lol
