How good is my old CPU cooler now?

The only problem you may come across is with the mounting brackets not fitting with figure sockets, a 200w+ TDP is more than adequate with the 4 heatpipes.

They cost about the same today. Decent cooler if, as alexkasloth said your mount is the same as for new mobo / CPU. It's cooling ability is about mid-level of cooler range. Normal range is about 150-300w TDP with a few extreme coolers up to 340w TDP. With stock fan it's about 200w TDP, and with a hi-airflow / hi-performance louder fan it's good to about 240w TDP .. assuming case airflow is supply air at or near room ambient to it.

Sounds like I should be ok then. I've just changed my case to a phanteks enthoo pro m and installed 2 of the intake fans to go with the standard exhaust fan that comes with it that are pretty good. So hopefully things are well balanced.
