Just wondering if i am playing games what sort of performance i could expect of this, could it even run the likes of BF3 on low with no FPS lag?

MSI GE620 is the name of it.

The nvidia GT540 is actually quite a weak card in relative terms.

You want a GT555 or better really.

even a 555 would struggle with most things.

It will fair a lot better than a GT540 in BF3 though, but yes you won't be cranking up the detail and AA to max in the latest games with either.

Give MEDION a try laptops with i5 and 460m start at around £700 which is great for gaming and they also ahve 1080p screens and such.
