Hi I am really sick and tied of the noise from my PC and I am thinking about maybe going to water. Is it a huge job to install water cooling did you find it quite hard at first ? please bare in mind I am a novice and will no doubt have to read up over and over again.

Can some one with a lot of kwoledge on this subject spec me a all in one kit for under £230.

thanks

wouldent say its harder, just takes more time to install. the head scratcher is with what case you have and were to put stuff/modd case to fit .

what case do u have?
whats making all the noise you don't like. cpu/gpu/nb or intake/outlet fans
what mobo
are u only looking for cpu only loop

I have the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case + EVGA 680i Motherboard. Would want it running to my CPU and north bridge etc.

thanks

nice case

from o/c swiftech ultra kit isn't to bad. duel 120 rad in from 6 5 1/2" bays. or
D-Tek FuZion cpu £40
Swiftech MCW30 Northbridge £19
EK Northbridge / Southbridge Asus 1 Chipset £23
Alphacool Laing DDC-1T Pump Ultra with OCLabs Clear UV Blue Plexi £60
Thermochill PA120.2 120mm Double Radiator £50.50
res or T line/fill port £12
Akasa AK-191-BL Blue Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan x2 £12
Masterkleer 7/16" Tubing - 1m 2x £3.50 1m might do but better to have enough
Additives/Coolants £10
Barbs 2x G3/8"-1/2" 2x G1/4"-1/2" , camps £10ish
alittle over @ £240 but far better rad, 1 of the top cpu blocks, pump could change to D5 more flowrate less head pressure, but takes up more space.

Id say it was harder. Took ages to fit mine and it got me so frustrated! This might have something to do with the fact that it was my first time, but still, I'm not looking forward to when i upgrade.

I replaced all my tubing and changed the block and the whole process took maybe 90 minutes. Bleeding took another two hours but this is mostly waiting and moving the case every five minutes or so. It's obviously harder than fitting a single heatsink and if your case requires extensive modding to fit the radiator then it will take much longer. The Swiftech kit has one great advantage in that the included radbox means hanging the rad off the back of the case is relatively simple.

harder when u have to modd yes. putting blocks on easyer than some HS. had a artic pro 64 for 939 the thing wouldent go on.had the board bent that much with stress , give me bloody stress.ended up buying a cheep thing just to run it.
time is the key.

note on the rad! they an only take off so much heat with a curtain amount of air flow. more flow = more heat displaced but more noise. the thermachill 240 will be ok for that amount of blocks, but don't expected a great overclock. for that you'll need there triple. might fit in the front but then the problem of were to put hhd's. 430mm x125 x 61
