How hard to you like it?

Normal mostly. If I really like a game then I may try a second time on a harder difficulty. Also sometimes completing a game on a harder difficulty unlocks an achievement, thats another reason I may go for a harder or hardest difficulty

if i enjoy a game i usually play it on the hardest difficulty, usually rpgs, like the witcher 2 got too easy as i leveled up so i downloaded a mod which nerfed all the gear and the skill tree as you progressed and made the game a lot harder! fps games i usually find hard enough so lower the difficulty a bit, but in rpgs i like making a strategy for the various boss fights and i dont like steamrolling everything.

1 notch above the "normal" difficultly. If a game isn't worth being challenging then it isn't worth my time.

Witcher 2 had it's difficulty done really well. I played it through first time on hard and every time I died I knew why I died and I learnt from it.

Skyrim's difficulty was the opposite. Most of the time it was fairly easy and mundane. When I did die (which was rare at later levels) I just felt like i got destroyed by some oversight in the games design eg lightning mages never missing and their attacks being unavoidable.
