I have a flat now, not moved into it yet, I was wondering if I should have it delivered to where I'm staying at the moment and put it together. My flat is on the third floor no lift.

Cheers

I dont have much space to play with so I was going to get two Alex drawers and then I can see what sort of worktop to get how long I can go, I will be sacrificing a wardrobe but do I really need one.

My 18 year relationship ended so I need something to keep me going.

Cheers

I suppose the good thing about being single is I can do what I want with the bedroom.

Just had the carpet done and bed delivered so now it's my computer that's the main priority. This is my space to play with.

That seems like a bad layout with lots of wasted space in the corner. Could you not have a single set of drawers and some posts to support the other end of the desk and put it in the alcove?

Or if you own the flat, you could put some bracing on the wall for the other side to support the desk.

At the moment I'm still trying to figure out the best place to put a desk, I had first thought about putting it in that space but it seems to be a lot smaller than I thought, I agree too much space is going to be wasted, I don't own the place but I can put fixtures on the wall but not until next summer no drilling is allowed as its a new build.

I do want to have a nice space for my computer area.

I like my Alex drawers but I don't think they'd make for a good partner

Maybe be better than who I was with:D:eek:

Did you get the worktop from IKEA too? Their delivery charges are ridiculous, £40!

Depends if you live close to one, I am about 75 minutes from my closest one, so by time added in petrol, food, the other bits the wife puts in the trolley I sail past the £40 delivery charge so just get it delivered.
