Give me an example of something that might be that heavy. a crt for instance, or heavier?

35 kgs worth of weight

3 10k discs and a 5?

Or maybe like a 10 year old give or take (not a fat one)

In all seriousness, a heavy 32in CRT might make that weight. Or a household washing machine (be between 30-40kg's).

maybe a sofa too.

Thing is its relative to size. I could lift a 35kg dumbell in one hand but i couldnt curl a sofa or washing machine with 2 :)

well i would say 35kg is weighty enough to think about before you lift, but in truth an adult male human should be able to shift 20-35k boxes pretty much all day, its not 'heavy' but i believe standard guidelines say that anything over 25k should be handled by 2 persons? Not sure.

35kg is 5.5st which might be little easier to try and judge in your head?

I'd imagine moving 35kg boxes would be bloody awkward and moving them all day would be hard work!

no surely 15l per case is 15kg's assuming slight loss for gas etc maybe 3 x 28packs

Remember that Billy is in America so the volume might be slightly different in a beer can but it is close enough I'd say. :)

35kg, as you say, is enough to notice it but it isn't a huge amount of weight to be shifting around. Particularly if in boxes though remember that the lifting should be done mainly with the legs and the back should not be doing much of the work.

'Round here a beer can is usually 355 mL (12 fl oz). I figured that a 30 pack would contain about 10.5 liters of beer which is roughly as massive as water. Adjust your maths accordingly. :)
