How Hot Does Yours Get

I'm wondering what sort of Idle and Load temps you 1900XT and XTX owners are getting at stock and which utility are you using to monitor temps ?

Idle I am getting 43c and load can get up to about 85c. Most of the time while gaming its about 75c.

Fan only speeds up to the next setting so not too noisy either.

I'm at 54C idle at the moment with the fan on 27%. I pushed the core to 675 (this is the XTX) and managed to hit 91C in 3dmark. It very rarely gets noisy too, although its good to know it can push a helluva lot of air if needs be.

with stock cooler i was idling around 50c and when upto 75c went looping 3dmark06 sm3 tests.
just put my maze4 gpu block on today, no i idle at 30c and loads at 42.5c looking 3dmark06 more than happy

My x1900xt-x is idling at 55c right now..
Mine should be a little warmer then most other peoples x1900xt-x here..With my system running in a small shuttle case.

same as "speeduk" just a tad hotter at idle nothing to worry about ATI state the x1xxx cards are good for 105deg Cthen they throttle down a tad

I keep mine under 60C load @ 666/1600

It goes to 90s when stock and ATi CCC is doing it

with mine xtx at 720/850 its heating up to around 46c under load

89.5 maxed with farcry on very high settings - fan kicks in to second level.


i understand tis safe up to 100c?

Hi there just got a XTX Radion today really pleased but I normally use a Maze4 had it on a GT0-2 I have the 7800 kit and it looks like it will fit could you confirm this for me please?

Then I have a new set of Vantec BGA ramsinks which I'm hoping to put on the ram chips, would I need another fan over them or are they likely to be OK with the sinks on them? My case temps are normally 24-28 degree's celcius.

when playing bf2 at full res all on hight i get 75C
