Got a bit of a problem I built a PC a few years ago.

Cousins been using it, but it's been blue screening and restarting. I've run a memtest for over 9 hours with no faults found.
I ran a Prime95 stress test and the machine reset after about 30 minutes, had my back to the TV, so didn't see it...

I ran Prime95 again yesterday and it work fine for several hours, but the temperature seems a little hot to me.

I have no idea what temp 3 is, but after a few hours, the core hit a max of 93c.

HW Monitor/Real Temp would be more useful. Temp 3 might be from a faulty sensor as one of my SSD's reads as that, with -999c on the GPU just being a error/bug.

use realtemp for cpu,

probably software bug 124c is usually the motherboard sensor but it shouldn't be as hot as that so probably a bug imo, same as your gpu showing -999c

bsod could be down to anything not only temps

As per request, here's HW Monitor.

It's passed memtest multiple times, also ran a HD Tune scan, which came out good.

While running Prime95, it reset again at sometime.

Damn processors been nothing but trouble since day, was overheating when I built it on the stock cooler, so I had to get him a better 1.

Can you recommend a budget CPU paste? It's an old machine.

Edit-
Nevermind, ordered some Artic Silver 5

As above 93c is FAR too hot for the the 965. I used to worry when mine got near 60c!

AS5 is good paste, look at sorting out cooling and airflow whilst you're there, speedfan is only reading a single case fan?

Open it up clean out the dust add another case fan and replace the cooler or reseat/renew paste on existing one.

Temp 3 could just be your mosfets, theyre rated to about 120 but wouldnt last long at that temp. Like varkanoid says get the dust out and check your air flow.
