Hi.

Is there any OFFICIAL from Microsoft way to transfer all my win7 apps & settings to a new windows 10 installed system?

If there is how i can do that?

For example i use mozilla firefox 68.0.2 with settings and plugins. Can i transfer that program with all settings to the new windows10 installed system?
Can i simply copy the folder "C:\Users\my pc name\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profile.default" to the new windows10 and i have the same settings as i have at windows7?

It's called an upgrade install, but tbh any upgrade leaves lots of legacy parts that will eventually clog up the system. Best to wipe and start again!

to do an upgrade for the sake of some Mozilla plugins is silly....

man up and clean install!

Personally id not even try and copy the FF settngs over, just install them again

For Firefox at least it's as easy as copying the profile folder over. Just remember your Firefox account syncs bookmarks, history, browser settings, etc anyway. For other programs it depends on what program it is. Steam for example, you can just copy the steamapps folder.
