How I do configure SharePoint email to use the same domain name?

Hi all,

At the moment SharePoint is using a sub-domain for email such as [email protected] but now I want sharepoint to use [email protected].

How would I configure exchange (Office 365) to differentiate what mail should be directed to the SharePoint server? The old connecter was simple. [email protected] was directed.

Please advise?

You'll need to create a new relay on the Exchange server for the domain name you want to use (to send from SharePoint). Once created, just update SharePoint in Central Admin.
