how important is a good mobo?

looking at getting a Gigabyte Z87-D3HP to use with a i5 4670k and 16gb of 1800mhz ram. what are peoples thoughts on this mobo, is it a good choice or should i be looking to spend a bit more on something else?

Great board for single GFX solutions, if you wanted SLI and Crossfire at 8X/8X (the D3HP only does Crossfire and that is at 16X/4X) then you need a more expensive board (Z87X-D3H or better).

It is also currently being supplied with a free aftermarket heatsink worth £30.

How would you compare this mobo with the UD3H stulid, and great review by the way, have you done any other reviews, if so can you link it because i really like your reviews
