How is GSYNC compatible now? I'm looking for a new monitor

I remember it had issues when it launched, flickering and black screens. I'm finding it hard when looking for monitors to find a full fat GSYNC monitor. My ASUS PG278QR which I've had for four years has developed a green hue in the top left corner which is annoying me and with Black Friday coming up it's a good time to look for a replacement.

Any recommendations? looking around £500. 27" and 144Hz+ is a must, 1440p and GSYNC preferred.

I ordered the MSI MAG274QRF-QD and yes, it's good. No backlight bleed and I don't think I have IPS glow but sadly there is a dead or stuck pixel and a little above that is a cluster making a large looking dot. I've ran JScreen fix over it but hasn't done anything for it :(

My brother bought two of them as well and one has a dead/stuck pixel and the other one seems okay.

My replacement panel was delivered today and it's fine. No deal pixels and same as the last one no backlight bleed so very happy. I checked over my brothers two panels again and his left panel is the same with just one dead pixel centre left so he's not bothered with it but the right side panel has a big cluster bottom right and it's worse than the one I sent back so he's sending that one back too.
