How is Rift currently?

Just wondering if its still decent and played by a lot of people?, was playing it a few month back and the server I was on, was about average in pop

Thinking about trying again since I'm bored of WoW, nearly fell a sleep earlier playing it

It's not going to offer you anything different than WoW from a gameplay perspective.

Wait for the new MMOs and pick one of them up. GW2 looks the bomb. I'm hungering for an MMO also but tiding myself over with some F2P stuff. Age of Conan, Warhammer Online etc.

Nothing worth paying for at the moment.

Rift is very much the same as wow without the long term balance and work gone into it. Fun to play but if you are looking for something different not the place to go.

Well thats true, just thought starting fresh on something other then WoW might be atleast abit less boring lol

Also my Rift account as already got 3 months game time so I wouldn't be paying for it realy, but I do agree that the new GW2 and SWOTR looks realy good

Need to look at WAR again, played it for about 30 hours when it first came out and didn't mind it, could have gotten bigger if it was done properly

I've stopped playing as I just got bored of it and waiting for SWTOR. But had a great time and met some really good guys!

I did read the 1.5 patch notes and looks like some interesting things coming. I like the sound of a 2 man Hammerknell.

I did ask when game first launched to join but never got a invite..

Anyway I might as well give it a try, got 45 days of game time on my account, plus theres bonus xp from 25th
