How is Systematic Chaos?

Last 7 to 8 albums have been naff? LOL?

But yes, Systematic Chaos is not great, but it's better than their last effort.

That was the first Dream Theatre album i've bought and based on that, the last. Fair enough, they can noodle away till their hearts content to an exceptional standard, but my god, THE CHEESE!!!!

I also, accept that their previous albums may be better, but im betting they're still cheesier than some month old stilton?

DT's always been about being a cheesy "progressive" band.

Right,

The album is OK, I think they need to take a break and spend longer writing their material.

They've definately gone for a more modern sound on this album, they haven't lost their creativity completely though.

By the way, why are you interested in Dream Theater at all? I remember your last comment was that most DT fans are 'wannabe goths', strange boy.
