How is this even possible (273V7QJAB)

Hi,

Built a PC with 5500XT. Tested with HDMI on a TV and old monitor works perfectly fine at 1080p.

Then plugged in the new monitor (Philips 273V7QJAB) but no signal. Tried both HDMI and DP. Keeps coming up a message telling me to change resolution to 1920x1080 but when you plug the PC into the TV or other monitors this is what its set as.

I assumed the monitor was faulty but the monitor works on other PCs !!!

Is there something I'm missing here?

Does the monitor have an on screen menu?

If it does, in the input select menu can you manually selected hdmi. The monitor could be on auto select which could cause problems

First thing I checked lol..

He ended up contacting the company he got it from and returned it but had to pay delivery and restock fee as they claim it wasn't faulty but something sure wasn't right with it lol.

First time I've ever seen this issue..

Wasn't the monitor,
Wasn't the GPU,
Wasn't the connections,
Wasn't the cables,
Wasn't the setting/input,

Literally just a monitor that didn't like "that" GPU.
