Decided to go ahead and overclock for the first time:



Been running now for two days, and wow, what a massive difference it makes! Before i couldn't use HDR with CS_Militia because of the general laggyness it created, but now i can run at 1280x1024 with 6xaa 16xaf with max details and still run HDR, and get 135fps in the VST, compared with 75fps i got at stock :D

I've tried going to 2.7ghz but it isnt stable. At the moment 1.525v seems reasonable with an AC64, but anything over 2.6ghz probibly needs a lot more juice and i dont really want to raise those temps any more ;)
 
HTT is at 4x. 289x4 is going way over 1000, but it seems perfectly stable. :)

Memory is 2x512mb Geil 3200 at 190mhz : 2.0-2-2-5 timings. Not bad for cheapo ram :D
 
Load temps are 45 deg after running the likes of BF2 and CSS. :)

The stepping is SPAW which were week 48 chips back last year, and had a massive sucess rate of getting to 2.8ghz on air iirc. :)
