How is this supposed to connect together?

Hi,

I'm building a new rig for someone and it's been a while since I've done a build.

The motherboard is a mini ITX Phantom Gaming from ASRock.

And this is the Heatsink....

According to the manual for a stock cooler it looks like its got those plastic screw clips which twist and lock underneath the motherboard.

Help please!

The backplate from the stock cooler should fit to the rear of the motherboard then screw into that, i think

Ah crap I think the backplate is still on the motherboard that got sent back which was DOA.

Looks right to me. Z390 is 1151 socket iirc.

Confusing. That backplate night be right... Intel doesn't have a stock backplate. Well, not to do with the heatsink.

Hard to know which one to get but the one in the picture above is the one from a review of the Cooler so I'm guessing that's the right one, ordered it so will see when I get it.

Well I should have spoken to them first but I just spoke to UK Coolermaster support and they said send the serial number over and they'll send one out for free. Very good of them.
