How likely are 600 series prices to drop when 700 series is released..?

and any ideas how much for a 770..?

I am gonna make my upgrade some time soon from a GTX 460 1GB.

Need a 660 as minimum. Will consider 660 Ti / 670 / 770. Defo don't want to spend over £300.

Mainly for SC2 HotS, wanna max it out on Ultra with smooth 60 fps at 1080p.

Got a load of games on Steam to work through too, but don't think I would need much more than a 660 to max them out either. I have got Borderlands too though, wouldn't mind being able to max that out with a bit of AA too...

Just wondering whether it's worth picking up a 660 now for around £160-180, OR whether it is worth waiting for the 770 to come out, 660/670 to take a price cut (end of May?), OR wait for 760 to come out and get one of them..?
There are also lots of free things bundled with 660's and above right now, dunno if those offers will still be around in a month or two...

Upgrade is not vital, just wanna get the best price : performance option that NVidia have available this year some time within the next month or two preferably.

I could almost get a 660 and a 27" 1080p monitor for the current price of a 670 (currently on 24"). :S

No harm in waiting, I read on another board who asked a supplier when theyre expecting stock and it coincides with computex dates...

Actual availability might not amount to much until later into June/July but its worth waiting IMO I don't think 600 series prices will change much.

I cant see the 6 series dropping much, theyre still pretty high tbh. Personally, ill just drop another secondhand wf 670 into my setup. Hopefully therell be a few available on members market due to early adopters of the new cards.

I think they will drop but not straight away and not by much. I think it's always best to wait for the custom designs to come out every time a new series is released because you get more choice. Better overclocks with better cooling solutions and if you're still not happy then the earlier series of cards should have dropped in price a little by then anyway.
