How long after BF3 release...

... will benchmarks be out with FPS values across various GPUs and resolutions?

I'm itching to replace/upgrade my current build (it's long overdue anyway!) and, as I'll be playing BF3, it obviously makes sense to hold off to see the benchmarks, right?

But can anyone estimate roughly how long it'll be before there are some solid BF3 benchmarks out? A week? Fortnight? Month? It's just that I know I'll be itching to get playing it as soon as I've heard everyone else going on about it

checking on a few sites the release date is given as 28th october, so would expect benchmarks within the next month or so if thats valid.

but definitely hold off upgrading til the benchmarks are out and about.

I hope I have the self-discipline to hold off for a whole month! I know it'll be the right decision in the long run though..

The i5 2500K is certainly set in stone, it's the GPU benchmarks I'm more interested in.
