They're rumoured to be about 360 DOLLARS. So yeah, over 300 definitely.. Considering the 3770k is 280, the 4770k is new tech with an extremely beefed up iGPU whilst being rumoured to be a high clocker, people will pay premium for it for sure.

Prices have only gone up on processors here in Europe due to the US economic climate and exchange rates which sucks.

The 3770K isn't 280 though, maybe here, but OCUK isn't the only E-tailer.
I'd probably get one if it replaced the 3770K at its price point at say 250 pound, but I don't think I could do 300 for one, let alone more. I'd rather get a second hand 3770K.

Probably not.
But it'd be PCI-E 3.0, so same bandwidth as your AMD set up.
