I sent a set of wheels off to be banded, i was told before sending them it would take 2-3 weeks, its now been just over 6 weeks, i was told 2 weeks ago they would be ready the following week, great i thought, that week ended and i heard nothing, i left it another full week before emailing again and i was told yesterday they should be ready by the end of the day that was yesterday, the end of the day came, nothing, another day today still nothing. a couple of weeks late is no issue at all, its the telling me they will be ready next week, then 2 weeks later they are still not ready, then telling me again me they should be done by the end of the day and another 2 days pass with no responce that seems to be getting abit unreasonable or am i being impatient? I fully understand delays happen, backlogs happen that's perfectly fine but i feel misleaded by telling me they will be ready and then let down on more than one occasion, i would much rather be told honestly they they won't be ready untill such and such date.

Firstly, and most importantly: What wheels?

Secondly, time to stop emailing and pick up the phone with an ultimatum, plenty of other specialists who'll do the work for you.

Good luck.

Get on the phone to them and demand, and I mean demand, to be told what the deal is and why they're giving you the run-around. Also demand to see timestamped images of all 4 or 5 of your wheels. If nothing else it'll show that they haven't lost them or completely ballsed something up during the banding process.

You pay up front I guess , rather than on receipt of acceptable result, hopefully credit card.

Yep telephone em (was amused that youngsters are now anxious about making calls, mortgage broker I know says he has endless low productivity text exchanges with clients)
