it won't be 10 years off thats for sure, various people have been working on the idea for ages now, even the paper battery idea has been around for a while.

See through screens would be ideally suited to Augmented Reality applications so I'd not write off the idea. I thought touchscreen phones were a stupid idea a few years back!
