How long can my TV aerial cable be?

Thinking of rearranging my lounge, only problem is the aerial socket is in one corner of the room and I want the TV in the opposite corner.

How long a cable can I run without killing the picture/signal? Just a standard aerial into cheapo Freeview box at the moment.

Arial cable runs can be 50+ meters, unless you live in the albert hall you'll be fine

Ok cheers. Maplin do a 10m one which should do the trick.

What are the options for running it around the skirting board? It's a rented flat so I don't really want anything that will leave a lasting impression so can you get anything that sticks on to guide the cable?

Self adhesive cable clips.

Never used them, so no experience of them.

Could use ordinary coaxial cable clips, (cheaper) as they leave a small hole, that easy to hide when removed.
