how long did it take for you drivers licence to arrive after change of addy?

Sent mine off on Aug 17th (not recorded

) and still not got anything back, i will call them up but difficult at work, just thought i would ask how long it took for you?

Took a while, a month and a half seems a bit too long though.

Just sent mine off for a picture change. They said 10 working days.

I just updated my address using the online form linked from the DVLA website. Did the application on 30th Sept and the new license arrived in the post yesterday (4th Oct).

Impressive service, especially as I changed from the old paper only license to the new card + counterpart license. (photo and signature was automatically pulled from my passport details)

When I did mine last year it was reasonably quick. Did it online and had the new licence within a few days.

just called them up and they have no record of my change of address. so that's lost then and i need to grab a 'D1' form from the posty,
