Hey guys found out the problem i was having with the flickering :( that came and went was due to my gpu (msi 7950) having a fault , anyway i contacted oc' and the man on the phone pretty quickly knew what the problem was.Great service as always from oc' Anyway tomorrow i've to send it back and i guess it goes off to Msi ? (its over the 28day) Just wondering how long it usually takes?

they did say upto 28 days :(
So if it will take that long ill probably buy a wee £20 card just so i can use my pc for web use

Graphics Card Warranty's - Let's see how good they really are *Look*

And from the former MSI rep:

We offer a three year warranty, the terms provided to our major resellers provide special terms in exchange for their agreement to handle the full three years of that warranty. This is a new arrangement made at the time that we extended our warranty from two to three years. The terms of our RMA provide a maximum 14 day turnaround for resellers (typically half that) from the day they ship the fault card out to the day that they receive the replacement.

The simple answer why we operate the RMA system like this is that the reseller will test the board and return them in batches. We can then replace the product and get the replacement back to the end user much faster than having to receive, test and dispatch multiple RMA's from multiple different people. in general, this method provides much better service as it allows us to keep turnaround times to a minimum, it also allows the reseller more freedom to handle the RMA by their own methods.

I hope this helps

Mine was around 2 weeks, though I'm confident they replaced my card rather than fixed it. (they didn't say but it looked new...)

Quite impressive service either way.

Aww , mine might be fixed or replaced (my post suggests fixed but i have no idea) Yeah sounds good would they not send the card in a new box if it was new?
But yeah once this is back and my fans are in my pc will be finished ,until i decide i want a new case and i7 is only . . . . Never ending really :P

Note that you probably only need to send the graphics card itself back.

Quite often what you get back will just be a bare card in a plain box.

If you send all the accessories you may not see them again.

Check what it says in your RMA instructions.
