How long do Sky take to connect

Im ordering Sky internet and phone as part of my Sky package on the 2nd of November.

how long do they usually take to get your services live after this?

dont think i could live without tinterweb for the stated 10 to 14 days :(
 
I got my MAC code from BT and once given to Sky, it took 9 days for the connection to move over. There was an intermittent drop of 40 mins from BT to Sky and since that, the broadband service from Sky has been flaweless.

Left it 12 days for the DLM to brush over and called Sky who put me through to Tier 2 who instantly maxed my line to its most capable and stable speed.

Happy days since then. :)

I'm guessing that it would be 10 days or so even if you dont currently have a provider.
