How long do you have to wait before requesting a PAC code?

Hi

Just transfered my number over to virgin from orange, now want to tranfer this number back to orange, is their a minimum amount of time I have to wait before i ring up virgin and ask for the PAC number?

its free if its within 30 days of end of contract date else there may be a charge for it with the addition of paying of the remaining of the contract.

Else its just a month I think if you are on Pay and go?
