As titled, really. I've got two pc's that have it, and have been on the same stuff for at least 2, possibly even 3 years. - temps seem fine, but i leave pcs on mostly 24/7, even heavily overclocked ones - if it aint 24/7 stable it aint stable. - I do this even when i am out - wouldnt wanna come back to a dead pc.... even my old ones are still very usable these days.

I've also got a tube or two, that i've collected as i've been doing projects. As i'm about to start building again, and will be doing lots of heatsink jiggery-pokery on the rigs.. i was wondering - Will the stuff in tubes be ok to use? also, will the stuff that's already on rigs eventually fail and kill my chips? i can't seem to find any info about this.... :(

any advice/knowledge/other experiences greatly appreciated :D

I believe AS recommend you store the tube tip down, because the silver particles gradually sink through the "paste" to the bottom.

If they haven't been stored tip down, you'll need to squeeze a bit of the rubbish out before you get to the usable stuff.

But otherwise, yep, should be fine ;)

hmm they havent been stored tip down but i bet with sufficient agitation it'd remix - I'm thinking along the lines of the agitators they use in spraypainting.. Or i could tape it round one of the engine mounts on the old land rover.. that'd agitate it goooood LMAO :D

EDIT: just to explain, one of the engine mounts on the landie is worn out, but.. with cars you get this comment "The car can't be used because its being fixed" - well, the landie can't be fixed because it's being used.. the transit 2.5TDi engine doesnt half rattle and vibrate in there - it's a loud ,juddery, unrefined beast even with fully working engine mounts.. that should shake and rattle a tube so good as to remix the materials... lol
