How long is an 8800 GTS?

I know the GTX is obscenely long, and I dont have 10 inches to spare in my case....
However I was wondering how long the 8800 GTS is?
I hear they are much shorter...

They're not longer than the width of an ATX motherboard. I'll measure my card when I get home, get back to you (if no-one else has by then).

I am looking at trhe GAINWARD BLISS "Golden Sample" GTS, because it is cheaper - even that is a stretch to my budget...

However surely the different models are not much longer than each other?

all GTS are the same lengths, same goes for the GTX

GTS is about the same length as a X1900/1950, GTX is about 1.5-2" extra on the end.

I think he meant that all the GTSs are one length, and all the GTXs are another length.

It is going to be tight, very tight, however I am sure people on the Dell forums said they had installed GTSs inot their rigs, which were the same as mine..
I will measure my case tonight - Dell put these stupid little black things on the motherboard which stop you puting something in which goes the whole length of the main board...

its just over 10.5 inchs - ~27cm.

edit: DOH thought you said gtx. well there's the difference between the two anyhow lol
