I'm on holiday at the moment since the 29th until the 15th, which seems a long time for me to be on holiday for, but a friend says it's how long people usually go on holiday for. Usually I only go on holiday for a week, sometimes slightly more, sometimes slightly less.

How long is your average holiday?

10 days is the perfect length for most places imo, a week is often to short to do everything and 2 weeks can sometimes get boring.

Actual away from home holidays - I don't have them.

I have time off from uni, where I'll just laze around/maybe work, never have holidays abroad etc.

Second! I usally take 2 weeks off and go away for 10 days, 1-2 days to wind down before and 1-2 after to get over the fact I need to go back to work. the last time I went away for 14 days, the last few days was so boring - possibly cause my holiday play thing went home in a huff.

My average holiday is about 3-5 days :S
bloody awful lol. Should get much better leave when I get back in the army though, 3 month shift, 2 weeks off, another 3 month shift, followed by 4 weeks off, then back to 9-5 woo lol.

Yes it does, although I do tend to find my monies need steam cleaning from time to time :p

9 days is fairly standard for me (2 weekends and one 5 day working week).

Don't think I've ever had more than 6-7 working days off in a row. One thing I like about having a week off is it means the next week usually goes quite quickly as I have a lot of work/emails/gossip/etc to catch up on.

I'm rather partial to 4-day working weeks so I like having the odd day off here and there. Makes my holiday allowance last longer rather than blowing most of it on a couple of long breaks.
