what do you reckon, week, month, hour?

:D

Where's the minute option? :p

Where'd you get them from? I need some new plates for mine, the current ones are from a Ford garage :(

I've had this on the car since the end of August.

I was involved in an accident 3 weeks ago (went into back of another car) where the police were called, I was breathalised etc, the police didn't mention ANYTHING about the plate.

They do look a touch too small, you'd probably get away with the 3/4 plates but those ones are tiny!!

I didn't want the hassle of getting pulled so I just kept the standard font size but had the plates made with the minimum legal spacing and border, still looks ok. I am tempted to get a 3/4 size one for the front though.

A disturbing lack of "accidentally" placed wads of cash and expensive gadets in that photo, imo. :p

If you're wanting to avoid being nicked , put some dents in a few panels, put a crack in the windscreen, run a tyre half flat and drop your exhaust so it trails on the ground. You'll then be camoflaged amongst the countless other cars that don't get pulled.

I had similar plate on my Pulsar and got a £30 fine, which I forgot to pay and then was £45!!

Even so the plate had been on the car for about 6 years, I get pulled within two weeksof buying it

Only time I ever got any bother without a front number plate was when a police car pulled out in front of me and then signalled for me to pull over.

A quick chat and I was on my way again.

Never got any bother from police cars/vans going the other way.

Depends. A mate bought a plate with L19MBM. Put the 1 and 9 a tiny bit closer to each other to creat an A - surname LAMB.

He got done within a week.

During the summer, my plate fell off the front and as it was hot and I wanted the maximum amount of cooling, I just left it off and stuck it at the bottom of the windscreen.

Was there for about 6 weeks before it was put back on at service time.

Takes your chance I guess. Could always loose the spots for STI covers and fit a square one if you get grief for it. Or the bonnet itself - I'm considering it but don't want to damage the paint if I take it off.
