how long till graphics start to take up more slots i.e 1 pci-e and 1 pci slot or they have to reinvent the pci-e slot ??

just a question that popped into my head thought i might as well share haha
 
wut?

do you mean (1)connecting into more slots or (2)covering more than 1 slot due to their size?

(1) never happen

(2) they already do
