Hey guys,

Just as the title says really. I'll be going for the premium checking service to get it on its way a bit quicker but i'm just wondering how quickly I'll get my provisional through? I'm, having to send an additional form regarding convulsions at a child, am I correct in assuming that won't slow it down?

Cheers,
Matt

Usually about a week, i had to send them some extra papers for them to look at and send back and it didnt seem to slow them down.

From DVLA Website
We aim to deliver your driving licence to you within 15 working days (includes outward posting) of receiving your valid application at DVLA. However, cases that require medical investigation, where we may have to contact your doctor, could take up to 5 weeks for a car or motorcycle driving licence and up to 7 weeks for a medium/large vehicle or minibus/bus.

Give the Dvla a call to see if they can help 0870 240 0009

I did the normal speed service with no extra forms and it came in about a week as far as I can remember. With your extra forms I guess it'll be impossible to get an accurate date.

When I did mine with the premium service I did it on a Saturday and had the license through my door on Wednesday.

Less than a week for my wifes provisional. Submitted electronically and send paperwork in day after. If only they were that fast with sending V5's out :/
