How long to get a replacement bank card ?

Has anyone had to get a replacement bank card lately ?

As am just wondering how long they take to come these days

I ordered one first thing Monday morning (9th December) and have still not received it yet.

Real pain as am off work this week and also need to do all my Christmas shopping and wanted to get tyres & battery for the car but have no bank card so can’t do anything

Halifax usually a few days, Barclays the same. Santander are shocking, ordered one last week, still nothing.

Am with lloyds bank

Shouldnt take too long, handy to keep something like a Revolut linked to Google/Apple pay for times when you are without main card

Am looking at getting a credit card so I got some kind of backup card for if this happens again

Does the new card not show up in your banking app so you can add it to Apple/ Google Pay?

Yes the new card shows up in my online banking app

But i have never used apple pay so have no idea what places accept it.
Also a bit nervous of trying to use apple pay for very first time with having no card to back it up if something went wrong

Yet another day and the card not turned up

I got go into the bank this afternoon so I see if they can tell when it was posted.
