Hi all, me again.

I've been told to let my new memory and CPU "burn" in before clocking it ? From new is there a suggestable amount of time to wait before knocking it up.

Currently a q6600 at stock 2.4 .. wanting to go up to 3.2 max :D

I waited a little to ensure system was built and stable at stock settings. then OC'ed.

"wanting to go up to 3.2 max :D" lol, thats what i said but went the highest i can go in the end.

err build pc, set fsb to 378x9, up all voltages a few notches, install windows, run prime whilst playing cod4

if it doesnt crash or fail then jump on your bed one time ...

least thats what i did with my q6600, no lie!

I always prime a new setup at stock speeds. It's very useful if you need to compare temps, Vdroop etc when overcloked.

Totally, anything else is just reckless and haphazard! :D

I laugh everytime I read someone say "Straight in at 4GHz"

What's the rush?
