If i remember right the 7*** series from AMD came out a few months before Nvidia's offerings and even then it was only 670 & 80's, 660 was about 6 months later.

The 79xx was January, and the first Kepler cards were March/late March?
That's about the same time

Who knows, Nvidia might come out first this time?
