how long will it last?

hi in my previous thread i was talking about getting a decent case and psu
but now money has took a turn for the worse and i am short on it so i was wondering

A: how long will my current psu last and is it decent enough to last at least 6 months more till i get a major income

its an ez cool psu at 700 watt, i have found some maybe decent info on it
.it has low ripple apparently

please help me here as i need to know asap because i can now only afford a either a case or a psu and i need to know which can wait, also it says the psu has high efficiency and on the box it says energy star/green power and has 4 levels protection and safe circuit
 
arrrrrrrr but my current case is fugly as anything
i just wanna know if the psu will hold out untill i can afford a new one, but if its that bad i will get a new psu instead of case, here are some more specs i found

get the psu first then the case when you can afford it.

the case is only a box for it to sit in at the end of the day whereas the psu is your pc's life blood.
 
nobody has a crystal ball....your obviously wanting to buy the case..... so by a case....
psu could be good for years yet...ultimatley its up to you but i know what i would do
 
done done and done after reading a few reviews and peoples comments now it makes me wanna just tear that psu straight out of my fugly case and throw it out the window and spit on it, i should listen to people more. cheers guys
 
well i had to lend money to (someone)
so now its more like £150 and well i want a decent case too and i need to buy something else for £50
so for £100 its not happening so im getting either one at the moment
 
Yeah its probably best to get a good reliable brand PSU fist, like chipps said the case just holds stuff the PSU powers it, and if it goes wrong could break stuff. Most new PSU's have like 5 year warranty now aswell (branded ones)
