do you think it will be untill the 640 gts and x2900 512 is about £200 inc vat ?

im umming and arring if its worth upgrading now or waiting.

my 1950pro wont run bf2 maxes out very fluidly, stutters a bit which is a no go'er when your a sniper.

BF2 needs 2GB to run maxed out

i know its the gfx as it ran fine on a 1950xt and ofcourse, the 8800gtx i had.

Are you sure it's not just down to drivers?

The 1950pro should handle everything BF2 has to throw at it, even at 1600x1200 and above.

^Indeed 1950 pro should get around 80fps and no stutter.
My 6800gs runs it fine maxed out @1600x1200, 4x aa, max ingame af @ 40 fps and no stutter at all.

im on the latest drivers and ati ccc.

It will run bf2 maxed out, but for instance when you see a sniper running you dont see him running but more fading in and out, ie not running a certain speed but speedin up and slowing down, like it would on a 600 ping (yet im pinging at sub 80)

twas fine with the other cards.

so i have it on medium...
