How many 290/290x before it worked?

I've been through 2 reference cards... Although 1 was unlocked so can't really count that's it was tampered beyond factory spec. ( Both cards black screening )

And also the Tri-X that I have now..... It's been flawless.
 
Got one Sapphire 290X Tri-X OC and it's flawless! on stock volts ive upped the core to 1080Mhz no problems, probably could hit 1100mhz on stock volts! Runs cool as hell and quiet too!.
 
I'm on my second MSI 290. First one was returned after black screening in games. That was was a replacement for a 2 week old MSI 280x which kept artifacting even when underclocked by 30%
 
Had 2 290x's (Sapphire ref) in crossfire, had a few black screen moments, one card was silent and the other would emit a high pitched screech once in a while, tried very hard to justify my purchase and enjoy the cards, in the end wasnt very impressed and returned the cards.

At the end of the day i want my pc to be stable and mainly for gaming, so i bought a 780ti and never looked back. I really hope AMD do better job with their next generation of cards.

1. Wouldnt surprise me if you didnt know (Which is why i said what i said)

2. Because i dont deserve a ban (yet), you're on the way though with your lowlife insults that not even i would use.

3. Read my posts in other threads, and im not actually trolling. The post that started all this was an honest opinion (Yes i know maybe i shouldnt have expressed it).

Now seriously get a grip.
