My girlfriend ordered this icecream for me after dinner last night. When the waitress brought it out I literally swore out loud

It was pretty much icecream, fresh cream, some curlywurlies, profiteroles, chocolate brownies and chocolate sauce. It was a beast :D . I got about a third of the way through it and gave up.

so, how many calories would that have been? Pint glass for scale.

Fatty things have more calories than sugary things. I generally find I can manage one of those big Frankie & Bennies between-2 ice creams after a meal quite easily, but probably couldn't take a big mac. Mabye 600 is more accurate then :)

£4.85 lmao, it was a classy establishment :D
Were you at a 'Hungry Horse'? If so that would be a Candy Mania, bloody gourgous things :D

I would expect it to be atleast 1500 calories, possibly more.

yikes that's big

you should ask or if the establishment has a website look on there - iirc most restaurants provide some sort of nutritional information on request.

i'd say 1200+ though easily!

Is that a curlywurlymegathingy? (from the Wishing Well pub?)

yes it is, Longwell Green near Bristol.
FAO Seek, why, do I care, I don't really, I was just curious. My knickers aren't in a twist I just didn't see anything constructive in your post, not that the thread is constructive anyhow.

I'd place that at easily 1500 calories, pastry, cream, chocolate, caramel. Jesus, it's a beast. I'd have two spoonfulls and feel sick.

Ant

mmm a curly wurly mega thingy:)

The ones local to us are the size of a water melon!! I can manage one and a half (the g/f couldnt manage hers :D

well with a single tub (500g) of Ben and Jerry's ice cream coming in at 1000-1500 calories depending on what you have - you're looking at more like 2000 minimum I'd say.

Consider that a McFlurry is around 600 calories and you'll see where I'm coming from
