If I buy music on itunes how many different devices can i download that song to? Is there a limit on how many times i download it and is there a way to put non itunes music on to a ipod?

You can download it to as many ipods as you like. Now that it's not protected, you can probably download it to as many of any aac players as you like actually. You can probably burn it as much as you like too. And yes, you can put non-Itunes music on an ipod. Mine is rammed with mp3s.

You will need to "authorise" each computer, that you want to play protected music on.

This limit is 5 machines. Unprotected music can be shifted around as much as you want :)

non of my pcs need the music, its the devices attached (only one at the moment) but I'll buy one more device if i can download to it without buying the music again. most music i listen to would be protected comercial stuff.

also how do i send my bought music to an ipod/device, just bought some songs and looking for an obvious send to Ipod kind of button -can't see one.

Let me get this clear; You have 1 machine, and want to buy more than 1 device to put the music on e.g. iPod, iPhone etc?

In that case, I'm not sure there is a limit on actual devices connected, which can be sync'd
